Without any statutory or legal obligation, CCIA Argeș has voluntarily supported culture, art, education, sports, and helped solve issues of public interest.
Whether it was gathering donations for medical equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic, donating IT equipment for associations supporting children with disabilities, or actively combating pollution through tree-planting initiatives like "Together for Green!", the Argeș Chamber of Commerce has always stepped up. We've done all of this by reinvesting significant financial resources, obtained from our ongoing activities and from our members, back into the local communities.
Our partnerships have also been directed towards professional training, as we believe our future is brighter when more young people receive support and guidance through professional development. In this regard, we've acted in two ways: directly, through our own professional training offerings (ANC-authorized courses), and indirectly, through our membership in the CLDPS (Local Committee for Social Partnership Development) – an entity under the Argeș County School Inspectorate, primarily focused on regulating all aspects of vocational and technical education.
To further support young people, we also developed partnerships with the University of Pitești, and later with Politehnica București, Pitești University Center, allowing students to benefit from internships within the Chamber of Commerce or with our members. Young students had the opportunity to engage with issues related to accounting, law, domestic and international economic relations, information systems, marketing, and business management within CCIA Argeș's departments.
In the future, we will continue to involve ourselves in economic activities, which are the core of our operations, but we will not hesitate to participate in any initiative that impacts the local communities where we live and work!
We believe that the slogan of the Chamber institution – "Together for your business!" – can only be fully understood if it's extended to include the communities in which these businesses operate!
