Technician for fire suppression and extinguishing systems and installations

The advanced training course TECHNICIAN FOR FIRE LIMITATION AND EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS AND INSTALLATIONS, Code COR – 742106, is approved by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) and authorized by the National Qualifications Authority (formerly CNFPA).

The occupation of technician for fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations is in high demand in the labor market. This is crucial for ensuring the proper quality of installation and maintenance work on fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations, carried out by qualified personnel possessing the necessary competence. Furthermore, this occupation is essential for the certification of economic operators performing installation and maintenance work on fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations.

The purpose and objectives of the course are to enable participants to acquire knowledge for performing installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations, with the exception of those containing certain fluorinated greenhouse gases, in accordance with Law 307/2006 and Order 87/2010.

The target group consists of individuals involved in the organization, installation, commissioning, routine checks, and maintenance of fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations.

The competencies acquired upon completion of the course are: organizing the installation activity of fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations; installing fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations; commissioning fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations; performing routine status checks of fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations; ensuring the maintenance of fire limitation and extinguishing systems and installations.

The course curriculum and the number of hours (60 hours) are developed in accordance with the Occupational Standard and Framework Curriculum and have been approved by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU).

The course is organized both in Pitești and in other localities, provided a group of at least 12 people is formed. It is open to those with secondary and/or higher education. The certificate obtained has permanent validity and is recognized nationally and in the European Union.
