The specialization course "OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY SPECIALIST" (COR Code – 325723) is authorized by the National Qualifications Authority (formerly CNFPA) and is addressed to legal entities in the public or private sector that are obligated to have trained personnel in occupational safety, as well as to those interested in training and developing their skills in this field.

The purpose and objectives of the course are to enable participants to acquire the necessary knowledge for carrying out prevention and protection activities in the field of occupational health and safety in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law 319/2006, Government Decision 1425/2006, and Government Decision 955/2010.

The target group includes employers and/or persons designated with specific responsibilities in the field of OHS, as well as individuals who have completed higher education and wish to qualify or improve their knowledge in occupational health and safety.

The competencies acquired upon completion of the course are: organizing prevention and protection activities; promoting a positive health and safety culture; establishing health and safety signage; training personnel on occupational health and safety issues; providing personal protective equipment; preventing workplace accidents and maintaining personnel health; investigating the causes of workplace accidents and occupational diseases; monitoring occupational health and safety aspects; coordinating evacuation and intervention activities when necessary.

The course curriculum has a total of 80 hours and is developed in accordance with the Occupational Standard.

The course is organized both in Pitești and in other localities, provided a group of at least 12 people is formed. It is open to those with secondary and/or higher education. The certificate obtained has permanent validity and is recognized nationally and in the European Union.
